SOMPTIN' OLD EXHIBITION 2002

Saturday 9 June saw the excellent "Somptin Old" exhibition reappear, after a gap of some 3 years, as part of the Adur Festival. Hosted again in White Styles School, there was a good attendance from all ages at the event, as can be seen from the exclusive phtotographs below.

The exhibition first appeared as part of the Sompting Parish Council's Centenary celebrations, and is organised by Mike Prince, himself a former parish councillor. The exhibition contains photographs of Sompting over many years, and allows many local residents to reminisce over the pictures and stories displayed, as well as with each other.
