The Odeon, Worthing, probably taken in the late 1970s. It opened on 24 March 1934,
was tripled in 1974, to provide a main screen (screen 1) with 450 seats, and
screens 2 & 3 under the balcony with 120 seats each. It closed in September
1986, was listed Grade 2 in 1987, but developers appealed and successfully
got the building delisted shortly afterwards. It was subsequently demolished,
and a shopping centre now occupies the site. When Iris worked there around
